A passionate thought leader in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), Wendy brings over 25 years of business strategy and experience to her consulting and DEI-informed executive coaching.

Wendy’s successful career has spanned decades of working on the trading floors of several of the Big Five Canadian banks. She started her career as an Economist, and moved on to Manager, Fixed Income Analytics. She then advised global financial institutions on fixed income solutions, including G-10 and Emerging Markets.

Subsequently, in recognition of Wendy’s business acumen and career-long passion for inclusion, she was selected to become Managing Director and Global Head, Diversity and Inclusion for the wholesale division of a leading Canadian bank. The first of its kind in Canada, the Office was embedded in the business and was located on the trading floor. Wendy and her team were responsible for many unique, bold, and effective DEI strategies and solutions. In 2018, Wendy’s office was recognized by Women in Capital Markets (WCM), receiving the Excellence in Innovation Award.

Wendy holds an Honours BA and MA in Economics (York University). She is an avid student of DEI-related teachings, and is a graduate of the CO-ACTIVE Training Institute’s Executive Coaching Program.

Wendy’s service and volunteer work are focused on two of her lifelong passions: inclusion, and the elimination of world poverty. In recognition of her business success and career-long contribution to DEI, Wendy received WCM’s Executive Leadership Award. She is a Governor of Opportunity International, a global microfinance charity.
